Kingsmen Complete Domestic Schedule with Win

July 8, 2026

CLINTON, S.C. — Just up the road from Joanna, the Kingsmen were firing on all cylinders Tuesday, scoring sixteen runs on the way to victory over the Joanna Hornets.

After last week saw the Kingsmen struggle for meaningful impact on the offensive side of things, that was no issue Tuesday. The team scored fifteen runs in the first three innings, including six runs right out of the gates in the first.

“We came out tonight ready to play,” Joe Hudak, head coach of Kingsmen Baseball, said. “And we kept it up. That’s the thing I liked.”

The Kingsmen saw hits up and down the lineup, with all ten starters reaching base, and eight of the ten lineup spots contributing in the hit column. Josh Jackson was particularly impressive, among others, as he got on base every time he came up to bat.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak, the first time all year that the Kingsmen lost multiple games in a row. With the Dominican trip just a couple days away, that’s an important streak to end.

“It’s a really good way to finish up the Carolina portion of our summer,” Coach Hudak continued.

Thursday, the team flies to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to kick off their annual mission trip. Over the course of the next two weeks, game articles and player testimonials will continue to be posted on the Kingsmen website.
