3rd Year Kingsmen Player

“This is my third year with the Kingsmen and I have enjoyed every minute. We had a very successful season, and now we are currently in the Dominican Republic. So far, we went to the Girls Orphanage here and it is always our favorite part of the trip. The Orphanage is very welcoming to us and they are always excited to see us. It is a blessing for us to be a part of their lives and enjoy the time with them. Kingsmen supports the orphanage and their mission to support these girls. Since being on Kingsmen for 3 years, I have seen many of them move out of the orphanage and start their lives. Its pretty amazing how they are always joyful and motivated to excel outside the orphanage. We plan on going to the boys orphange later on the trip and I am super excited to see them as well. When we go there, they are also super competitive and in high spirits whenever we show up to see them. Since being here, the trip has already been so powerful. In the morning I had coffee with Flor who is our cook here. She is basically like our grandmother for our team and she feels like family. This is the third year I have seen her here and talked to her. Three years ago I got baptized here in the DR and she mentioned that she remembered who I am and that I got baptized. She had the biggest smile on her face when we were talking. The moment was so powerful for me, and I will remember her for the rest of my life. This trip is always powerful and with every team it has a unique impact on the community here. It has truly been a blessing to be on this team and go on this trip. Thank you every donor for making this possible for us.”
