Kingsmen Baseball suffered a 1-0 loss to the Mooresville Spinners despite a brilliant pitching performance by starter Chas DeBruhl. DeBruhl pitched 7.0 innings and allowed just one run on three hits and three walks, but the Kingsmen lineup were unable to break into the hit column as Mooresville would use four pitchers to complete a combined no-hitter. Sawyer Reeves and Burke Camper were the two players to reach base by way of a walk and Luke Jenkings would reach base due to an error. Reeves and Camper would stretch out their legs on the base paths, with Reeves stealing two bases and Camper getting one as well. Mooresville’s solo run came in the 1st inning after a walk and a double led to the run. DeBruhl received the loss.
Kingsmen will return to action on Tuesday, 21st at home against the Concord Athletics in York, South Carolina.
