Heavy storms moved into the area in the bottom of the 5th inning with the Pride claiming a large lead over the 8-8 Copperheads and a new rule that was implemented in the offseason in the SCBL, made the game an official win for the Red and Blue.
Scottie Lee collected home runs number three and four on the night, driving in five runs. Lee sent a three run blast over the left field wall in the bottom of the fourth inning, and sent a two run shot over the same spot at York Comprehensive High School the very next inning.
Colby Stuart continue to dazzle on the mound for the Pride this summer, picking up his fourth win of the summer after going for 5.0 innings pitched, striking out five, and allowing only one hit.
