“This is my second trip to the Dominican Republic. These trips truly bring me the purest form of joy. Our first day we visited the girls orphanage, which has a special place in my heart. We spent the day playing kickball and volleyball, just having a blast in each other’s presence. After competing, we came together, talked about Jesus, and passed out gifts. It was so hard to say goodbye to them. Their smiles, kindness, and unwavering faith reminded me that the greatest blessings often come through serving others. Moments like those will stay with me long after this trip is over. Our second day down here we got to play our first game of the trip, which was very cool. The way we can have a language barrier and be from different countries and still come together to compete on the field and then share the word of Jesus is truly a blessing. This trip really defines what it means to have unconditional love for our Father, Jesus Christ, like He has for us and shows you firsthand how to be content in your faith. Every conversation, every game, and every prayer has strengthened my relationship with Christ and reminded me that His love reaches far beyond any border or language. These trips have truly changed my life forever.”
