This year’s trip to the Dominican Republic was truly an amazing trip. Everyday created memories that I will never forget. The team got so close over the trip and we all gained friendships that are gonna last far past this summer. Going to Hogar del Niño was so much fun. Getting to put a smile on so many kids faces was awesome. One of my favorite parts of the trip was going to the boys orphanage. We played basketball, soccer and went in the water park. We also got to go snorkeling. It was the first time for most of the team and we could’ve stayed out there all day. It was a fun experience to see all the life under water. Round two of the Dominican Republic for me was unforgettable. I am so glad I can back to experience the trip for a second time. I love the guys and am going to miss them. I am truly grateful for the last two weeks we all shared together.
