The trip to the Dominican is truly a once in a lifetime experience. My expectations for the trip were blown out of the water once I was able to fully experience the trip to its max. I always knew how important baseball was to the Dominican people and the Dominican kids, but to fully take it playing baseball against Dominican teams and the environment that baseball creates for players and kids around the game. To call the trip an “eye-opening” experience is an understatement. Being able to witness first hand the highest and lowest parts of the Dominican certainly was a special experience that I’m truly grateful I was able to be apart of.
