The Piedmont Pride and Concord Athletics were set to square off in the second round of the SCBL playoffs yesterday, July 25th at York Comprehensive High School. Rain and storms in the area forced the game to be moved back a day once again for the second straight day.
The Pride and Athletics will play at 2 P.M. today at York Comprehensive High School. The loser of that game will play the winner of the Oilers/ Prospects game at 7 P.M. at York as well. The winner of the Pride/ Athletics game will move on to the bracket championship game.
Will Lozinak is still scheduled to start on the mound for the Red and Blue. Lozinak is 1-1 for The Pride this year, posting an ERA just north of 2.00.
