Kingsmen Blank Blowfish in Final June Contest

June 29, 2025

LEXINGTON, S.C. — The Kingsmen shutout the Lexington County Blowfish 6-0 on Saturday on the road, picking up a victory that was seamless from start to end.

“This might have been the most complete game we’ve played all year,” Coach Joe Hudak remarked. “I thought our pitchers threw really well. Any time you can win a game six to nothing, it’s a pretty complete game.”

At the plate, there wasn’t one specific player or one play to point at when assessing the game. The Kingsmen weren’t flashy by any means in Lexington, only managing five hits over the course of the contest. They won, despite that for one reason.

The Kingsmen took advantage of every mistake and each opportunity in front of them.

The Kingsmen held the Blowfish’s offense consistently throughout the game, with timely pitching coming through to help seal the deal.

“I want to give a shoutout to Hunter Carroll, great job tonight,” Coach said. “Came into a tight ballgame, bases loaded and one out, and struck both hitters out.”

With yet another win, the Kingsmen’s record improves to 10-1-1 in the lower 48 states. Their impressive season resumes on Tuesday against the Catawba Valley Stars at home.
