Ahead of another summer of competing for Christ on the baseball diamond, Kingsmen Baseball has announced their 2023 roster. This year’s team is made up of seven Division I and eight Division II players along with four recent high school graduates and a junior college transfer. The team also includes some returning players, including Jack Austin, Justin Stewart, Aidan Rice, and Tyler Baker.
Several players will be competing in their respective Division championships in the coming weeks. Namely, Blake Bevis will be participating in the Lexington Regional of the Division I Tournament as a member of Ball State. Bevis and his team are scheduled to take on Kentucky at 12pm EST on Friday, June 2. Additionally, Caleb Cox and Darrien Whitaker will take the field for No. 2 North Greenville in the Division II Baseball Championship in Cary, North Carolina. The two will open their tournament play against Augustana (SD) on Sunday, June 4.
The rest of the Kingsmen 2023 roster is scheduled to report on June 1 in preparation for a summer season that will take the team throughout the Carolinas, Alaska, and the Dominican Republic. Without further ado, the 2023 Kingsmen:
