“This was my third trip to the Dominican, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The group of guys on this trip were special, which made it that much more memorable. The past 11 days I will never forget. Visiting the boys and girls orphanages and seeing the joy that radiates from kids that have little to nothing impacted me in ways hard to describe. Walking through Los Montones and passing out food bags and praying for people was probably my favorite part of the trip. It is eye opening to see the way people live and how lucky we are. We take so many things for granted in America. It was a well needed reminder to be grateful for what I have. Getting the chance to pray over a family in need while being in the village was truly special as well. It is a moment that will always stay with me. As I mentioned before, the group of guys in this trip were special. The bible studies and devotionals we had were so impactful for me and the team. The love everyone had for each other was strong and allowed us to connect on a level I hadn’t expected. I am so grateful to have been able to go on this trip and be a part of this group.”
