This trip to the Dominican Republic has been just an unforgettable experience. My expectations for the trip were blown out of the water once i was able to see their way of living. Today we played a team no one knew anything about and I believe they were the best team we’ve faced down here. They started a pitcher that played for the San Francisco Giant’s farm team and is now looking to sign a new deal. After the game, Coach Hudak told the story of Jesus and we passed out Spanish New Testaments. My favorite part of this trip has to be visiting the girls orphanage. We played kickball and volleyball for hours. They kept a smile the entire time. The relationships i’ve created with this team will be held forever and I’m truly blessed to have these boys in my life. I’ve greatly grown my faith over the summer and this will be a time of my life I will never forget. God is good!
