“I have been beyond blessed to be a part of Kingsmen baseball this summer. Being a part of the Hudak family and this special group of brothers has been incredible. I have learned so much on and off the field, but most importantly, I have grown in my faith. I have watched the Lord move in so many lives and make a way when there seems to be no way. I have especially seen it on our trip to the Dominican Republic. Watching the Lord move through this villa and team has been incredible. I have learned how intentional He is through every 1-on-1 conversation, Bible study, and deep talks. We have already had multiple people give their lives to Jesus on this trip, and we’re not even done yet. One of our main questions we have focused on this trip is: “If you were to die today, on a scale from 1 to 10, how confident are you that you are going to heaven?” As we work through this question, I believe we are truly starting to understand the character of Jesus and his unfailing love for us.While the enemy might make us think that we’re not worthy enough for heaven or haven’t done enough good deeds to get there, this isn’t what The Word tells us. Some of our answers, and a lot of Christians today, will say that they are a 7 or 8, and this implies that Jesus only died for 70 or 80 percent of our sins while the rest is up to us. The only thing you can do in hell is pay for your sins. The only person in hell is the person whose sins aren’t paid for. Once we give our life to Jesus, we should be a 10 and then continue to act like one.
This team, trip, and summer has been one big miracle. This trip will be something we remember for the rest of our lives. We can remember this trip during seasons of our lives when God doesn’t feel close and remember how He revealed himself every day for 11 days straight in the summer of 2025. There’s no one like our Lord.”
