This is my first trip to a foreign country and I am extremely thankful for this experience so far. Being able to bless people with food and see how happy the kids at the orphanages were when we played with them showed me that we are meant to show the love of Christ to others. I have seen people here in the Dominican that are struggling to put food on the table, yet are grateful and faithful to God despite this. This trip has given me so much more than just playing baseball in the Dominican Republic, it has taught me how we should serve others and has given me valuable experiences that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
