2nd Year Kingsmen Player
“This trip has been amazing so far with how much I am seeing God work through our team and everyone we’ve connected with. This is my second year playing for Kingsmen and going on the DR trip. Going off of that I love playing for the Kingsmen, it feels special to play for something bigger than me. l’ve attended a few colleges in my college baseball career due to uncontrolled circumstances, but playing for the Kingsmen feels like home. The joy and love I feel playing ball with God-fearing teammates is so special I cannot put it into words. The connections l’ve made through Kingsmen is another thing I cannot even fathom. For example, last summer on the DR trip we visited a girls orphanage and I met three wonderful daughters of God. One of them being named Yolanda, she was so excited to see me last year and she talked to me the whole time I was there. This year going back I saw two of the three little girls, and the one that was missing was Yolanda. I was told that she aged out of the orphanage. Later that week we played a game and after that game, she was there and I was told that she and her sister drove thirty minutes away from home to come see the Kingsmen play. She told us that she was doing well and even found a job, but most importantly she was growing with Christ. The impact that this team had on my life and many others is truly a work of God.”
