“This trip to the Dominican Republic has been amazing. Visiting the boys and girls orphanages, seeing kids at the games, and going to the children’s daycare were just as fun as last year when we went. Getting to see the smiles on the faces of the kids we have been around is the exact reason I decided to come back. We even got hugs from the kids who we met last year. Today we worked at Kike’s house. We layed concrete all around his house so they could build his fence around it. It felt good to do something for a person who does so much for us while we are here. He also shared his testimony with us tonight. I heard Kike’s story last year but it really hit me hard. A man that has been through so much in his life and he turned out the way he is is truly amazing and goes to show that anybody can live for Christ no matter where they come from.”
