YORK, S.C. — The Kingsmen continued their hot streak on Thursday, defeating the Queen City Corndogs in back-to-back matchups.
It’s the fourth win in a row for the Kingsmen. Their record remains unblemished since the team returned from Alaska.
The home Kingsmen were in recovery mode from the jump in game two after surrendering five runs in the first inning. They battled back though, and were able to edge out the Corndogs in the end.
Both games were competitive, with the second game requiring extra innings to decide the contest. The Kingsmen ended things with a walkoff walk in the 8th.
The team took the day off Friday, returning to action on Saturday with a trip to Forest City, North Carolina. First pitch against the Owls is set for 7:30, with Steven Stone and Griffin Leonard doing the radio commentary. Dalton Bisbano is slated to take the mound.
