“Today was a big day. We started off with a game at Boca de Chavon. To me it was the most fun game we’ve played so far. During the game there were kids and animals walking through the field and our dugout. It was cool to see the kids hanging around in our dugout and trying all of our gear on like they were about to play a game. It was fun seeing all the guys in the other dugout have fun and laughing the whole time no matter the score. It shows that there is more to the game than just winning. The second half of the day was spend at the kids day care called Hogar del Niño. We all had a great time there getting to feed the little babies and then playing with the toddlers. They loved having us there and getting to paint our face. It was really cool, as not many of us had fed a kid before and they were so open and friendly in trusting us even though they had never seen us before. Overall it was a really great day to enjoy and showed me how lucky we really are to have the things we do and we should really appreciate it.”
