“It has been a really special opportunity to be a part of the team this year and to play here in the DR. It has been cool getting to know all the guys this summer, and to bond as we are in a different country playing baseball together.
This trip has already started to make an impact even though we have only been here a few days. We have visited two different orphanages this trip, which has been fun but also very eye opening. The kids seemed to enjoy us being there, and some of them even came and cheered us on to a 9-3 victory today!
I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for the rest of this trip. And to see the impact on all those who are involved.”
