“Today the Kingsmen were off which gave us the opportunity to reflect on the beauty of this trip. After hearing many people tell me that this trip was going to be life changing, I had to come experience it. This trip has given me the opportunity to see what God has in store for us and it is amazing to be able to spread His good news.
Visiting the girl’s and boy’s orphanage along with other daycares have been the highlight of my trip. Coach constantly told us that we were going to change their lives, but little did they know they were actually changing mine.
Partaking in these seemingly easy tasks has played a crucial role in how I want to proceed in life. God has blessed us and it is amazing to bestow our blessings on these people. This trip makes you take a step back and truly value everything that has been given to us through God’s grace. Playing baseball down here is no joke either.
While some games have been easier than others, baseball is these kids’ entire life. It is great to have the opportunity to share the ball field with these young men and share the love of Christ as well.
