“Today we played Paulino Academy in our first game here in the Dominican Republic. It is always a pleasure to play against Paulino, and see the raw talent they have to throw at us. We love playing Paulino for more than just their talent though. The amount of excitement and passion these kids play with is fascinating to see, and is overall how the game should be played. We also visited the boys orphanage today.
How fast you turn into a little kid running around with them is surreal. This my second time visiting the boys orphanage. Having a little kid you only met once remember, and be excited to see you again goes to show how much it means to them when we visit, and definitely makes you want to go back to see them. It is amazing to see people in such an awful situation make the most and fulfill their happiness with what they have. Nothing more or nothing less.”
