“We are home after another amazing trip to the Dominican Republic! This was my second trip to the Dominican, and it was no less life changing than before.
When you go on this trip, you see people with nothing talk about how blessed they are and happy for everything they have. Humbling is a word I would use to describe this trip. These people don’t even need four walls to have a smile on their face, and back home we make the slightest problem a huge deal. It is amazing to see connections through the communities. Everywhere we go it feels like we are around one big family. The villages are so connected and caring for each other, and the orphanages are like being around fifty brothers and sisters at a time. Growing yourself with Christ is a good feeling, but seeing the Lord doing His work on your teammates around you and all the people we get to help while we are there is what makes this trip. Aidan Bisbano being baptized by Noah and Kike was just the exclamation point to an amazing twelve days. Everyone had an advancement with Christ, and had an impactful change to their life because of this trip.”
